Job summary

Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust (CPFT) is recruiting a Band 5 Higher Assistant Psychologist to join our enhanced Forensic Psychiatry Community Service, based between Cambridge and Peterborough. The post involves working within a multi-disciplinary team to develop psychological case formulations and interventions, and to support risk assessment using tools such as HCR20-v3 and SAPROF.

• Supervision to develop psychological case formulations and interventions.

• Contribute to risk assessment work using tools such as HCR20-v3 and SAPROF.

Responsibilities

• The post-holder will be supervised to support the development of psychological case formulations and interventions (e.g., CFT, CBT, DBT, Trauma-focused therapies, Relapse Prevention) and enhanced risk assessment tools.
• There are administration and audit tasks attached to the post, and involvement in service evaluation and research.
• Work independently within the plan agreed with a qualified psychologist and within the team policies.
