Job summary

Impact Food Group (IFG) is seeking a Chef Manager to lead a high-volume kitchen within a school setting, delivering fresh, seasonal meals to hundreds of students each day.

You will manage a team, plan menus, control stock and budgets, ensure food hygiene and compliance, and build strong relationships with onsite clients. The role offers daytime hours, term-time weeks, and opportunities for training.

An interview, trade test and kitchen visit are required; IFG supports safeguarding with DBS checks.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a kitchen in schools or high-volume catering.
• Proven ability to cook fresh, seasonal food at high volumes.
• Strong people management and leadership skills.
• Experience managing kitchen operations, stock, and compliance.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Proactive, hands-on approach with high standards.
