Job summary

Impact Food Group is seeking a Chef Manager to lead a high-volume school kitchen on a maternity cover basis at Q3 Academy Great Barr, then move to another IFG site. Working days Monday to Friday, 7am-4pm.

You’ll manage a catering team, plan menus, handle stock and budgets, ensure food hygiene and compliance, while building strong relationships with onsite clients and stakeholders. This hands-on leadership role offers daytime hours and holiday terms.

Qualifications

• Experience running a high-volume school kitchen.
• Ability to cook fresh, seasonal meals at scale.
• Strong people management and leadership.
• Experience managing stock, budgets & compliance.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Proactive hands-on approach and high standards.
