Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions are seeking a skilled High Voltage Maintenance Electrician to join our client on a permanent basis, based at a site in Wetherby, West Yorkshire. The role requires HV AP status, strong electrical maintenance experience, and fault-finding expertise to ensure safe, reliable operations.

Reporting to the facilities management team, you will perform planned and reactive maintenance on HV/LV systems, undertake tests, and manage switchgear and transformers.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• Must be a current or previous High Voltage Authorised Person (AP).
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician in facilities management, commercial, industrial, or critical environments.
• Strong HV/LV electrical knowledge and fault-finding experience.
• Experience with HV switchgear, transformers, and electrical distribution systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on electrical systems.
• Undertake fault-finding, testing, repairs, and maintenance of HV and LV systems.
• Maintain HV switchgear, transformers, and associated electrical equipment.
• Carry out HV switching and isolation duties in line with site procedures.
• Diagnose electrical faults and implement effective solutions.
• Complete maintenance records and documentation.
• Ensure all works comply with health and safety procedures and relevant regulations.
• Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota.

CBW Staffing Solutions are seeking a skilled High Voltage Maintenance Electrician to join our client on a permanent basis, who are a leading global provider in facilities management solutions, delivering high-quality services across a range of critical and commercial environments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance and must be a current or previous High Voltage Authorised Person (AP). The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, testing, and fault-finding electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal functionality, reliability, and safety.

This is a site based opportunity, located in Wetherby, West Yorkshire.

Package

• Competitive salary of £43,000 - £48,000 per annum (depending on experience)
