Job summary

Proactive Global is seeking an Electrical/ Electronics Test Technician to join our manufacturing team in Stoke-on-Trent. You will perform a range of electrical and electronic test processes, fault finding components, and support the maintenance of high-voltage equipment using bench-top instruments.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering/Power Systems and proven experience with high-voltage systems, ensuring safety and compliance throughout all activities.

Qualifications

• Conduct test activities following instructions and processes to ensure technology is delivered effectively and on time.
• Performs test activities during product manufacturing.
• Fault find electronic circuits and assemblies to component level.
• Read and interpret manufacturing drawings and technical manuals.
• Maintain manufacturing documentation for traceability.

Responsibilities

• Ensure testing complies with high-voltage safety procedures.
• Install, test, commission and maintain HV equipment including converters, transformers and controllers.
• Use standard bench test equipment to support diagnostics and validation.
• Read and follow test procedures and technical documentation.
