Job summary

Training will be provided for machine operation. The role requires adaptability to 12-hour day/night shifts (approximately 14 shifts per month) and strict adherence to company policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-speed slitting machinery for flexible packaging conversion.
• Carry out basic machine maintenance, including lubrication and clean-downs
• Challenge low run hours, speeds, waste levels and machine setups
• Perform quality inspections and administration according to customer specifications and standards
• Liaise with the Shift Manager to report and expedite engineering breakdown repairs
• Ensure machines have sufficient material to maximise uptime
• Keep paperwork up to date
• Ensure labelling and wrapping are correct and current
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and housekeeping
• Enforce and adhere to company policies and procedures
