Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL in Bridgwater is seeking a Production Technician/Machine Operator to run high-speed production lines in a fast-moving plastics manufacturing environment. Full training will be provided to develop mechanical and manufacturing skills.

You should have a mechanical or manufacturing background, comfortable with 4 on/4 off shifts, and an interest in long-term progression within a market-leading packaging business that supports your development.

Qualifications

• Engineering/manufacturing operator background is ideal.
• Strong mechanical aptitude or manufacturing experience would be useful.
• Willingness to work shifts and progression in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-speed production lines on a continuous manufacturing process.
• Set machines pre-production and run the line through production.
• Carry out tool changes, clean machinery and perform quality checks.
• Undertake basic maintenance of machines and contribute to process improvements.
