Job summary

Provide CIC is recruiting a High Risk Podiatrist to join the community care team in Chelmsford. The role offers autonomous clinical work with support from senior Podiatrists and a focus on complex foot care.

You will assess, diagnose, and develop personalised treatment plans for patients at high risk of foot ulceration and active ulcers, managing your own caseload within a forward‑thinking service. Part-time options available; salary £39,959–£48,117 per annum; NHS banding applies.

Qualifications

• Wound care experience required.
• Independent prescribing or working towards it.
• Completed preceptorship at band 5, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality podiatric care to a diverse patient group with diabetes, vascular disease, and related conditions.

Main duties of the job

In this rewarding role, you will provide specialist assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing management for patients at high risk of foot ulceration, as well as those with active ulcerations. Working closely with patients, you will support them in managing their foot health and improving their overall wellbeing.

You will deliver high-quality podiatric care to a diverse patient group with a wide range of clinical needs, including diabetes, vascular disease, rheumatological conditions, wound management, neurological disorders, and nail surgery. As part of a supportive and experienced team, you will use your clinical expertise to develop and evaluate individualised care plans, helping to achieve the best possible outcomes for patients.
