Job summary

Places for People is seeking a Building Safety Manager to support the Principal Building Safety Manager in safeguarding 25 high-rise residential buildings. You will ensure compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022, maintain safety records, and work with residents, contractors and regulators to uphold safety standards.

You will lead risk assessments, prepare safety case reports, and help keep residents informed about safety measures and evacuation procedures, contributing to a safe community.

Qualifications

• Experience in building safety management, fire safety, or facilities management.
• Understanding of Building Safety Act 2022 and related higher-risk building regulations.
• Experience with risk assessments, compliance monitoring, and safety records.
• Experience collaborating with residents, contractors, and regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day management of around 25 high-rise residential buildings in line with Building Safety Act.
• Create and maintain safety case reports and building safety arrangements.
• Carry out regular risk assessments and monitor safety records and compliance documents.
• Respond to safety incidents and work with residents, contractors and regulators.
