Job summary

Places for People is seeking a Building Safety Manager to support the Principal Building Safety Manager in the day-to-day oversight of around 25 high-rise residential buildings. You will help ensure compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022 and our Building Safety Management System, including safety case reports and risk assessments.

Qualifications

• Experience in building safety management or related discipline.
• Understanding of Building Safety Act 2022 and Higher-Risk Buildings.
• Experience with risk assessments, compliance monitoring, safety records.
• Experience working with residents, contractors and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day management of high-rise buildings to ensure safety compliance.
• Create and maintain safety case reports and building safety arrangements.
• Carry out risk assessments and monitor safety records and documents.
• Respond to safety incidents in line with statutory requirements.
• Collaborate with residents, contractors, maintenance teams and regulators.
