Gardner Denver in Redditch is seeking an Operations Manager High Pressure to join the Senior Management Team. You will oversee production, optimise resources, and ensure safety, quality and efficiency in a high-precision manufacturing environment.

The role requires strong leadership, process improvement experience, and the ability to drive data-driven decisions across complex assemblies and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified or equivalent experience.
• Green belt or higher Lean practitioner.

Responsibilities

• Production Management: Oversee day-to-day operations; ensure schedules, quality and resource use are optimized.
• Continuous Improvement: Implement lean and CI to reduce waste and improve productivity.
• Team Leadership & Development: Lead cross-functional teams and foster safety and accountability.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure operations meet quality standards and ISO 9001 requirements.
• Health & Safety: Promote safety culture and conduct risk assessments in manufacturing.
• Supply Chain & Inventory Management: Manage inventory and lead times with procurement teams.
• Budget & Cost Control: Monitor budgets and report KPIs to senior management.
• Stakeholder Communication: Coordinate with engineering, finance, sales and customer service.
