Job summary

Lancashire Cricket's Sports Science and Medicine Team is seeking a Strength & Conditioning Coach to join a multidisciplinary setup. You will work across Boys Academy, EPP, pathway squads and Senior Men’s teams, helping players meet high-performance demands while minimising injuries.

Flexible hours including evenings and weekends, with a salary of £24,000-£28,000. You’ll collaborate with physiotherapists and use GPS data to tailor long-term athlete development in cricket.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate Sports Science/Strength & Conditioning degree.
• UKSCA accreditation or equivalent or be able to gain accreditation in first 6 months.
• Minimum 2 years experience in team sport in a sport science related role.
• Current professional indemnity insurance cover.
• Up to date first aid qualification.
• Full driving licence and access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Deliver strength and conditioning support to Boys Academy, EPP and pathway squads.
• Support Senior Men’s physical preparation including 2nd XI and pathway players.
• Maximise performance, minimise injury risk, set physical benchmarks.
• Lead gym, field, and rehabilitation sessions for Senior Men’s, Academy, and Pathway groups.
• Collect and analyse training workload data (GPS) and report findings.
