Job summary

Lancashire Cricket is seeking a Strength & Conditioning Coach to join our multidisciplinary Science & Medicine Team in Manchester. You will deliver high‑level physical preparation across Boys Academy, EPP and pathway squads, while supporting Senior Men’s squads in line with game demands.

Essential qualifications include an undergraduate S&C degree and UKSCA accreditation with at least 2 years in team sports. The role requires evening/weekend work and a valid driving license.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in sports science/strength & conditioning required.
• UKSCA accreditation or equivalent preferred; willing to gain in first 6 months.
• Minimum 2 years in team sport science/conditioning role.
• Excellent communication and reporting to Lead S&C Coach and MDT.
• Current professional indemnity insurance and up-to-date first aid.
• Full driving licence and access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Deliver strength and conditioning support to Boys Academy, EPP and pathway squads.
• Assist Senior Men’s physical preparation for 2nd XI and pathway players.
• Set benchmarks to maximise performance and minimise Injury risk.
• Lead gym, field-based and rehabilitation sessions with the Senior Men’s squad.
• Collect and review training workload data (GPS) for pathway players.
• Collaborate with physiotherapists on rehabilitation and conditioning strategies.
