Job summary

Dunbia Carnaby is recruiting for Hides & Skins Operatives to assist in the processing of cattle hides and skins. You will be responsible for ensuring hides and skins are trimmed, sorted, graded and salted and preserved for further processing, weighing and grading.

Employees must ensure the work area is kept clean and tidy and comply with health and safety standards. No experience is required as full training will be provided; we offer a 37.5 hour week from Monday to Friday with a 7am start and

Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.
• Good communication and time management skills.
• Must be able to reliably commute to the place of work.

Responsibilities

• trimming, sorting, grading and preserving Hides and Skins for further processing
• Chilling, salting and weighing of hides
• loading of lorries/dolavs/boxes ready for despatch
• Be comfortable working in a physical and outside environment.
• Working to production targets
• Working to company Health and safety processes
