Job summary

Dunbia Carnaby is recruiting for a Hides & Skins Operative to assist in processing cattle hides and skins. You will trim, sort, grade and preserve hides and skins for further processing, weighing and grading.

The role is based at Dunbia Carnaby with a 7am start, Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours per day, and flexibility for additional hours to meet demand. No previous experience is required; a strong work ethic is essential.

Responsibilities

• Trimming, sorting, grading and preserving hides/skins for further processing.
• Chilling, salting and weighing of hides.
• Loading of lorries/dollies/boxes for despatch.
• Be comfortable working in a physical and outdoor environment.
• Work to production targets and to health and safety processes.
• Full training provided; previous production experience is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet targets.
• Good communication and time-management skills.
• Must be able to reliably commute to place of work.

Dunbia Carnaby is recruiting for Hides & Skins Operatives to assist in the processing of cattle hides and skins. You will be responsible for ensuring hides and skins are trimmed, sorted, graded and salted and preserved for further processing, weighing and grading. Employees must ensure the work area is kept clean and tidy at all times and keep to company Health and safety standards.

Previous experience is not necessary although a strong work ethic is a must. Working hours are Monday to Friday with a 7am start. Flexibility is a requirement as additional hours may be offered to meet customer demand.
