Job summary

University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Digital Product Lead to shape, develop and deliver the HICSS products that impact patient care. About the team

The HICSS team provides operational support for the Endoscopy Management Software used at UHS and partner Trusts, and delivers regular upgrades to enhance and expand the functionality within these applications.

The Digital Product Lead is responsible for leading the development, delivery and ongoing management of HICSS. The post holder works closely with clinical, operational, technical and commercial colleagues to translate complex requirements into practical digital solutions. The role also includes contributing to governance, supplier relationships, and reporting.

The role requires strong leadership, communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively across multidisciplinary teams. The successful candidate will need experience in digital product or service delivery, stakeholder engagement, roadmap and workload management, and translating complex technical or clinical requirements into clear plans and solutions.

They should also have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, confidence in presenting information, and the ability to support staff, influence senior stakeholders and work within governance, safety and data protection requirements.
