Job summary

SOLOS Consultants Ltd. seeks a HIAB Operative to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. Salary is dependent on experience and a full clean driving license is essential.

The role requires HIAB operation experience, valid HGV Class C licence, and HIAB certificate CPCS or ALLMI. Knowledge of construction drawings and a strong safety focus are also important for this position.

Qualifications

• Experience with HIAB operations, ideally in street lighting.
• Valid HGV Class C Licence.
• HIAB crane certificate CPCS or ALLMI.
• Solid understanding of construction drawings.
• Full clean UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Strong commitment to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Supervise loading to ensure materials are safely loaded and secure.
• Collect and deliver equipment to site.
• Manual labour: digging holes, installing equipment as applicable.
• Comply with Drivers Hours and Working Time Directive requirements.
• Ensure all safe working practices are followed for safety of yourself and others.

• Experience: Proven experience of working in HIAB operations ideally within Street Lighting.

• Safety Commitment: Strong dedication to safety protocols and fostering a secure work environment.
• Driving Licence: A full clean UK Driving license is required for this role (no more than 6 points on Driving Licence).
