Job summary
Pioneer-Selection-Ltd is seeking an experienced HGV HIAB Driver / Installation Operative to support a six-month installation project across Eastbourne and Lewes. You will collect street furniture and equipment from a local yard, then deliver and unload it at roadside sites while operating the lorry-mounted crane.
The role requires a HGV Class 2 licence and HIAB qualification with hands-on site work, load securing, and following lifting plans.

- Ability to load, secure and transport materials safely.

Location: Eastbourne
Salary: approximately £120 per day
Shift: Monday to Friday - 6:00am to 2:30pm/4:30pm, with occasional night and weekend work
An opportunity has become available for an experienced HGV HIAB Driver / Installation Operative to support a six-month installation project across Eastbourne and Lewes.
The HGV HIAB Driver / Installation Operative will collect street furniture and associated equipment from a local storage yard before delivering and unloading it at roadside sites. Responsibilities will include operating the lorry-mounted crane, securing loads, following lifting plans and supporting the installation team on site.
- HGV Class 2 licence
- Lorry-mounted crane/HIAB qualification and operating experience
- Knowledge of lifting plans and safe load handling
- Experience loading, securing and transporting materials or equipment
- Understanding of vehicle checks and safe HGV operation
- Comfortable completing practical, hands-on work at roadside sites
- NRSWA/highways qualification
- Previous highways, street furniture or installation experience
- Six-month contract
- Monday-to-Friday working pattern
- Local work across Eastbourne and Lewes
- Equipment provided for the role
