Job summary

Pertemps South Midlands Driving Hub in Northampton is recruiting experienced Class 1 Drivers for ongoing store delivery work. This role offers regular starts between 10:00 and 13:00, with palletised goods deliveries to retail stores and a professional transport team. Immediate starts are available for suitable candidates.

You will perform vehicle checks, complete paperwork and ensure deliveries are completed safely and on time, adhering to driver hours and WTD regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Driver CPC Qualification Card
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 12 months Class 1 driving experience
• No more than 6 penalty points
• No CU, DD, DR or TT endorsements
• Professional and reliable attitude

Pertemps South Midlands Driving Hub is recruiting Class 1 Drivers for ongoing store delivery work based in Northampton. No silly o'clock starts. Regular ongoing work. Straightforward store deliveries with a transport team that knows what they're doing. If you're an experienced Class 1 Driver looking for regular work, decent start times and no nonsense, this could be the opportunity for you.

What will you be doing?

You'll be delivering palletised goods to retail stores, completing store deliveries safely, professionally and on time.

• Providing good customer service
• Mastering the art of arriving on time, only to hear, 'We'll get you on a bay shortly mate.'
