Pertemps Milton Keynes is recruiting HGV1 Drivers for day shifts in Northampton. This full-time role offers regular hours, no early starts, and ongoing store deliveries with pallet truck and tail lift work. Must have Class 1 licence, Driver CPC, Tachograph card, and clean license.

Working hours start between 10:00 and 13:00 with overtime opportunities. Immediate starts available in a supportive transport operation focused on regular, straightforward work.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
• Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 12 months Class 1 driving experience.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• No CU, DD, DR or TT endorsements.
• Professional and reliable attitude.
• Patience when waiting for pallets or deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Deliver palletised goods to retail stores on time and safely.
• Store deliveries as required.
• Perform vehicle checks and defect reporting.
• Handle delivery paperwork accurately.
• Adhere to driver hours and Working Time Directive (WTD) regulations.
• Provide good customer service.
• Arrive on time and maintain professionalism on site.
