FTS Recruitment Solutions has a fantastic opportunity to join a major British retailer’s transport team as an HGV1 Trunk Driver in Swindon. The role covers trunk runs nationwide, with day and night shifts on a Monday–Friday and Sunday–Thursday rotation. Hourly pay is £17.41 with holiday pay, paid fortnightly on set pay days.

You will perform vehicle checks, maintain safety standards, and swap loads at depots across the country. A valid C1 licence with CPC and tachograph is required.

Competenze

• Valid UK category C1 licence with CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum age 21 years.
• Max 6 points on licence; no TT, DD, CD, IN10, MS50 or DR1.
• Minimum 1 year HGV1 experience.

Mansioni

• Operate HGV1 vehicle to complete trunk runs.
• Trunk runs depot to depot across the country.
• Deliveries are drop and swap.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects.

FTS Recruitment has an Fantastic opportunity to be part of the team with a very reputable company. Working with one of the largest British furniture retailers in the Country that continues to grow year on year we are excited to be recruiting a HGV1 Trunk Driver, starting as soon as possible.

You’ll be working as a HGV1 Driver, completing trunk runs depot to depot, all over the country, all drop and swaps.

Job tile: HGV1 Trunk Driver

Location: Swindon, SN3

Hours: 10 hours + (8 hours guaranteed pay)

Pay Rate: £17.41 per hour. Pay rate is inclusive of holiday pay and pay is fortnightly on set pay days,

Start date: ASAP

Shift Duration: Days: Monday to Friday, Nights: Sunday to Thursday

Start Times: Between 1am and 5pm starts

What You’ll Do

• Operate HGV1 vehicle to complete trunk runs.
• Trunk runs depot to depot, all over the country.
• All deliveries are drop and swap.
• Must have double deck trailer experience
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly

Skills and Requirements

• Valid UK category C1 licence with a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum age of 21 years due to insurance purposes
• Must not exceed maximum 6 points on your driving licence (no TT, DD, CD, IN10, MS50, UT50 or DR1)
• Must have a minimum of 1 years HGV1 experience
