HGV 1 Driver Position in Glasgow

Manpower is currently seeking HGV 1 drivers to work with one of our clients based in Glasgow.

1. Working Schedule: Monday to Friday
2. Pay: £16.00 per hour + overtime - weekly pay

Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing the safe unloading of vehicles at customer premises.
• Ensuring proofs of delivery are signed and returned.
• Checking load security and weight distribution according to the latest safe working practices at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Maintaining vehicles to company standards by reporting any defects.
• Performing daily vehicle checks to ensure safety and proper operation.

Essential Skills:

• Valid HGV Class 1 license (no more than 6 points)
• Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph card
• Knowledge of the working time directive
