Grundon is seeking a skilled HGV Technician for our Colnbrook fleet. You will join a dedicated workshop team, deliver inspections, servicing, and repairs to maximise vehicle uptime, and prepare vehicles for MOT testing.

Role requires City & Guilds Parts 1-3 or NVQ Level 3 in HGV maintenance, or 10 years' experience; ideally with Class 2 HGV licence, tachograph card, and Driver CPC. We offer a supportive environment with career development and a focus on safety and quality.

Formación

• Hold City & Guilds Parts 1,2 & 3 or NVQ Level 3 in HGV maintenance or equivalent.
• Or at least 10 years' relevant experience in HGV maintenance.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out inspections, servicing, and repairs on vehicles, including warranty work, ensuring tasks are completed to deadlines and in line with standards.
• Prepare and present HGVs for annual MOT testing.
• Diagnose faults and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Complete service documentation and records per procedures; follow safety reporting processes.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment in line with SOPs and PPE use.
• Support and guide apprentice technicians and contribute to the team.
• Provide roadside assistance when safe to do so and engage in ongoing training.
