Job summary

Kautec Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a Workshop Supervisor in Reading. You will lead a busy HGV workshop, supervise a team of vehicle engineers and ensure work is planned and executed to schedule.

The role covers diesel, hybrid and electric vehicles, with a Monday-to-Friday day shift and overtime, offering a salary up to £60,000 per year. The ideal candidate has senior HGV technician experience and strong IT and systems skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading a workshop environment, preferably HGV or council fleet.
• Solid IT skills and familiarity with vehicle transaction systems.
• Ability to manage a team and ensure work is completed to schedule.

Responsibilities

• oversee productivity and overall efficiencies of a busy workshop.
• oversee day-to-day activity and allocate jobs via a card system to Vehicle Engineers.
• ensure work is carried out to correct specifications and within time frames.
• liaise with Parts Department to ensure correct equipment and stock levels.
