Shift: Monday - Thursday 8am - 4.30pm and Friday 8am - 3.30pm

About your new company

My client is a large fleet maintenance company based in Leeds. Due to their continued growth, they are now looking for a skilled welder/fabricator to join their expanding team.

About your new HGV Welder / Fabricator role

• You will undertake welding and fabricating on commercial vehicle bodies and chassis in a maintenance and refurbishment setting.
• This includes tankers, trailers, and HGVs.
• You will work on a variety of vehicles, so experience in different sectors is beneficial.

The successful HGV Welder / Fabricator will require

• Experience in medium to heavy fabrication of steel construction and welding (2mm to 10mm).
• Ability to build and tack weld fabrication from drawings and complete welding.
• Ability to spot and correct visual faults in fabrications promptly.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Experience working on trucks, trailers, and tankers.
