Job summary

Veolia in Exeter is seeking a Class 2 licensed HGV driver to join our waste management team. You will be responsible for driving and collecting waste following Veolia procedures, with a typical 48-hour week, starting early, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work.

The role offers a salary of £41,429.28 per annum plus Veolia benefits, a meal allowance, 22 days leave, pension access, and training opportunities. If you have CPC/Digi card and a can-do attitude, apply now.

Qualifications

• Class 2 (Cat C) licence required.
• CPC / Digi card up to date.
• Can-do attitude with strong time management.
• Waste management experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Drive and carry out collections following Veolia procedures.
• Complete daily checks of the vehicle and recording defects.
• Ensure all daily logs are kept up to date.
• Comply with all traffic laws and legislation.
• Follow all Veolia H&S policies and procedures.
• Lifting bins of all weights and sizes.
