Job summary

SUEZ Bracknell is seeking an HGV Technician to service and repair our fleet to the highest safety and performance standards. You will work with an experienced workshop team to carry out routine servicing, inspections and repairs.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance, a valid Class 2 HGV licence, and proven diagnostic and fault-finding abilities. A Basic DBS check will be part of recruitment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance is required.
• Experience working on HGVs or commercial vehicles.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Good attention to detail and reliability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence.
• DBS check will be part of recruitment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics and fault finding on HGVs and articulated vehicles.
• Mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Ensuring all vehicles remain compliant with DVSA and company standards.
• Accurate completion of job cards and maintenance records.

Our vehicles arrive pre‑cleaned and emptied before entering the workshop, allowing you to spend your time doing what you do best—maintaining and repairing vehicles, not cleaning them.

What We’re Looking For

• NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance.
• Previous experience working on HGVs or commercial vehicles.
• Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding skills.
• A positive attitude with excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV driving licence.
• A Basic DBS check will form part of the recruitment process.
