Job summary

SUEZ is seeking an HGV Technician to join its workshop team and perform routine servicing, maintenance, and inspections on our fleet. You will diagnose faults, carry out mechanical repairs, and ensure all vehicles meet DVSA and company standards.

Working in a supportive and experienced team, you will also complete maintenance records accurately and focus on keeping vehicles safe and compliant. A Class 2 HGV licence and DBS check are part of the process.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance is required.
• Experience working on HGVs or commercial vehicles is essential.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills are required.
• Positive attitude with excellent attention to detail is expected.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team is important.
• A valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV driving licence is required.
• A Basic DBS check will form part of the recruitment process.

The Role

• As an HGV Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet to the highest safety and performance standards. Working alongside an experienced and supportive team, you'll carry out:

• Ensuring all vehicles remain compliant with DVSA and company standards.

Our vehicles arrive pre-cleaned and emptied before entering the workshop, allowing you to spend your time doing what you do best - maintaining and repairing vehicles, not cleaning them.

What We're Looking For

You'll ideally have:
