Job summary

Pertemps Stoke on Trent is seeking an HGV Valeter to prepare our vehicles to the highest standard. You will clean and valet the interior and exterior of HGVs and commercial vehicles, ensuring they are presented professionally for photography and viewings.

Working Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:30pm, the role offers ongoing training, a company pension, on-site parking, and clear career progression in the exports and logistics sector.

Responsibilities

• Clean and valet the interior and exterior of HGVs and commercial vehicles to a high standard.
• Operate pressure washing equipment to clean vehicles effectively.
• Work outdoors throughout the year in varying weather conditions, with appropriate PPE and waterproof clothing provided.
• Ensure vehicles are fully prepared and presented before being photographed for sale.
• Maintain consistently high standards of workmanship and attention to detail.
• Keep the wash bay and surrounding work areas clean, organised, and safe.
• Follow all company health and safety procedures and guidelines.
• Work efficiently to meet preparation targets and business deadlines.

Our client within the commercial vehicle export industry, are looking for a hardworking and reliable HGV Valeter to join their team in Stoke-on-Trent.

The Role

As an HGV Valeter, you will play a key role in preparing our vehicles to the highest standards before they are marketed and sold. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will ensure all vehicles are cleaned, presented professionally, and ready for photography and customer viewings.
