VanRath in Londonderry is seeking a dynamic Transport Manager to lead a thriving logistics operation, optimise route planning, ensure compliance, and manage a motivated driver team across multiple depots.

The role offers £50,000 per annum plus a performance-based bonus and an attractive benefits package. Applicants should hold a Transport Manager CPC qualification and demonstrate proven leadership in transport.

Qualifications

• Must hold Transport Manager CPC qualification.
• Proven experience in a managerial role within transport.
• Strong knowledge of transport regulations and compliance.
• Category C+E driving license.
• Excellent communicator with leadership skills.
• Practical, highly organised, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic proficiency in Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day transport operations across multiple depots.
• Optimise route planning and scheduling for HGVs.
• Monitor driver hours, compliance and tachographs.
• Support HR in inductions, appraisals and disciplinary procedures.
• Conduct investigations into driver misdemeanours and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance and safety protocols, PPE and manuals.

• Maintain compliance with H&S policies and administrative duties such as incident reporting and customer complaints
