Job summary

Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd. is recruiting for an HGV Trailer Technician in the Willenhall area. The role targets experienced trailer and heavy-vehicle technicians to join a leading transport and logistics provider.

Basic salary up to £46,000 with bonus earnings around £54,000. Benefits include a welcome bonus, pension, holidays with buy/sell, income protection and development opportunities. On-site parking and health/safety focus apply.

Qualifications

Experience working with semi-trailers or heavy vehicles.
IRTEC accreditation or equivalent.
City & Guilds/NVQs in relevant trade or craft.
HGV Class 1 driving licence.

Responsibilities

Conduct detailed inspections, servicing and repairs on trailers ensuring safety and functionality.
Complete compliance documentation accurately and efficiently.
Diagnose and resolve issues using EBS systems such as HALDEX, WABCO and KNORR BREMSE.
Participate in ongoing product and industry training including IRTEC, tail lift, BPW and SAF axle/brake training.
Deliver customer service within tight deadlines and follow health and safety protocols.
