HGV/Trailer Mechanic - Night Shift
Location: Glasgow
Pay: £46,800 + - from £20ph
Shift: Monday - Thursday
OTE: £50,000

About your new company

My client is a fleet maintenance company established for over 25 years. They are looking for skilled HGV /Trailer Mechanic Technicians to join their growing team.

About your new HGV Technician role

• Ensuring fleet compliance with Roadworthiness Regulations
• Maintaining fleet through regular service inspections
• Preparing vehicles for MOT testing
• Responding to defect reports and rectifying issues
• Coordinating with teams to ensure smooth transport operations
• Callout rota covering fleet
• Weekend shift rota

Qualifications and skills

• Problem-solving and teamwork skills
• Excellent communication and flexibility
• High standards of work
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Repair (preferred)
• IT literacy
• Experience with commercial vehicles
• Knowledge and experience as HGV or Trailer Mechanic
• LGV C+E licence beneficial but not essential
