Job summary

Talent Finder is seeking an experienced HGV Technician in Wellingborough on a full-time basis. The role involves carrying out repairs safely and in line with manufacturer procedures, with fault diagnosis support and collaboration with the Parts Team to ensure correct parts are fitted.

The position requires NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, full UK driving licence, and flexibility for the rotating four-week shift pattern.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Fully qualified HGV Technician.
• Relevant HGV technician experience.
• Strong mechanical, diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive attitude with focus on safety and customer service.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Flexibility to work the full rotating shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs to manufacturer procedures safely and to standard times.
• Assist fault diagnosis and support roadside breakdowns.
• Coordinate with Parts Team and workshop controllers to maintain vehicles.
