Job summary

Join Volvo Trucks in Washington as an experienced HGV Technician to repair, diagnose, and service vehicles according to Volvo procedures. You may road-test and assist with roadside breakdowns and complete all required paperwork with precision.

You will work with a team that values safety, quality, and training, contributing to trainee development while upholding company standards and a strong commitment to customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience carrying out repairs to a high standard according to Volvo procedures.
• Ability to assist in fault diagnosis and service customer vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs to a high standard according to Volvo procedures, safely and responsibly
• Assist in the fault diagnosis process
• Service Customer Vehicles and complete service sheets.
• Road test vehicles when required (if you hold an HGV license)
• Assist with roadside breakdowns.
• Process all relevant paperwork relating to jobs accurately
• Ensure all vehicle defects are reported
• Keep workshop facilities, equipment, and tools clean, tidy and well maintained
• Help us in supporting the development of trainees and apprentices

Shifts: 6.00- 14.30 and 9.30 -18.00 Monday-Friday and 1 Saturday in 4 paid at time and a half.

What you will do

Qualifications required:

Do you holda Level 3 NVQor equivalent inHeavy Vehicle Maintenanceand have previous experience working on HGV's or have you completed anapprenticeshipin the HGV industry?
