Job summary

Volvo Truck & Bus is seeking skilled HGV Technicians to join the team in the United Kingdom. The role offers world-class training, clear development pathways, and the chance to work with a leading brand in commercial transport.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified HGV Technician with City & Guilds/NVQ3 or equivalent.
• Experience working with HGVs or commercial vehicles.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive team player who communicates well.

Responsibilities

• Carry out service, maintenance, and repair work on Volvo HGVs to high standards.
• Diagnose and rectify vehicle faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
• Perform safety inspections, MOT preparations, and routine maintenance.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with manufacturer standards.

Salary up to £22 per hour (dependent upon experience & skill set)

£2,000 JOINING BONUS!!!!!! (direct applicants only, paid after 6 months continuous service)

Rotating earlies/lates:Monday to Friday 0600hrs to 1400hrs/1400hrs to 2200hrs, alternative Saturday 0600hrs to 1200hrs @ overtime - time and a half

What you will bring to us
