Job summary

Volvo Trucks in Norwich is seeking skilled HGV Technicians to join our growing team. You’ll service, maintain, and repair Volvo HGVs to the highest standards while working a rotating shift pattern.

We offer training, career development, a generous joining bonus of £2,000 after 6 months for direct applicants, and a competitive £20 per hour rate with enhanced overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified HGV Technician (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• Experience working with HGVs or commercial vehicles.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• A team player with a proactive attitude.
• Valid UK driving licence (HGV licence desirable but not essential)

Responsibilities

• Carry out service, maintenance, and repair work on Volvo HGVs to the highest standards.
• Diagnose and rectify vehicle faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
• Perform safety inspections, MOT preparations, and routine maintenance.
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and in line with manufacturer standards.
• Maintain a clean and organised working environment

HGV Technicians - Excellent Pay & Generous Signing Bonus

£2,000 JOINING BONUS! (direct applicants payable after 6 months service)

Salary: £20 per hour

Working a rotating shift;

Monday to Friday

Rotating shift: 0600hrs to 1400hrs/1400hrs to 2200hrs

Alternative Saturdays mornings @ overtime rate time and a half
