Job summary

AB Volvo in the UK is seeking skilled HGV Technicians to join our growing Volvo Truck & Bus team. You will carry out service, maintenance and repair on Volvo HGVs to the highest standards, with a rotating shift and a £2,000 joining bonus payable after six months of service.

We invest heavily in your development with training in e-mobility and progression through Volvo Bronze, Silver and Gold levels, plus generous benefits including 25 days holiday, overtime rates, health plan, parental leave,

Qualifications

• Fully qualified HGV Technician with City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Experience with HGVs or commercial vehicles.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills; proactive team player.

Responsibilities

• Carry out service, maintenance and repair on Volvo HGVs to high standards.
• Diagnose and rectify faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
• Perform safety inspections, MOT preparations, and routine maintenance.
• Maintain a clean and organized working environment.

£2,000 JOINING BONUS! (direct applicants payable after 6 months service)

Salary: £20 per hour

Working a rotating shift;

Monday to Friday
Rotating shift: 0600hrs to 1400hrs/1400hrs to 2200hrs
Alternative Saturdays mornings @ overtime rate time and a half
