Job summary

Kemp Recruitment Limited is recruiting an HGV Technician for a role based in East Kilbride. You will perform vehicle inspections, servicing, maintenance, reactive repairs, MOT preparation, and fix running defects as part of a skilled HGV team.

The position requires a solid knowledge of HGVs and trailers, with City & Guilds / NVQ Level Three in heavy vehicle service, maintenance and repair; an HGV licence Class 1 is desirable but not essential, and prior HGV Technician experience is expected.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of HGVs and trailers.
• Industry recognised qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ Level Three) in heavy vehicle service, maintenance and repair.
• Previous experience as an HGV Technician.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle inspections.
• General servicing and pre-planned maintenance.
• Reactive maintenance as required.
