Kemp Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced HGV Technician for a Beeston workshop. You will service, maintain, inspect, diagnose, and repair a mixed fleet of HGVs, vans, and trailers.

The role offers a 4 on 4 off pattern with 6pm-6am shifts and £26.40 per hour, plus enhanced overtime. A proactive, safety-minded approach and strong fault-finding skills are essential. On-site parking and career development opportunities available.

Qualifikationen

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Minimum of two years' post-qualification experience as an HGV Technician.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• HGV Class 1 licence is advantageous but not essential.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Basic IT skills for completing digital job documentation.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop.
• Good understanding of health and safety within the commercial vehicle industry.

Aufgaben

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a mixed fleet of HGVs, vans, and trailers.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Complete MOT preparation and present vehicles for MOT testing.
• Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs.
• Accurately complete job cards, service sheets, and all required documentation using online systems.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with health and safety procedures.
• Maintain high standards of quality, housekeeping, and compliance within the workshop.
