Salary: £48,985.90 per annum + Bonus + 33 days paid annual leave!

Hours: 48 hours per week
07.00pm-07.00am Monday - Friday

Location: Bellshill

We are offering an exciting opportunity at NRG Riverside within our Bellshill depot for an experienced HGV Technician to join the night shift team. You will be responsible for servicing and repairing a variety of vehicles, including refuse trucks. Specialist training will be provided to support your development.

NRG Riverside, established in 1996, is the UK’s largest municipal and specialist fleet hire company, providing vehicle hire, maintenance, and sales services. We support our clients in fleet rationalisation, decarbonisation, and efficiency improvements.

Candidate requirements:

• Experience as an HGV Technician/Mechanic
• Experience in the Waste/Recycling industry is a plus, but not essential
• Municipal experience, especially with refuse trucks/RCVs, is advantageous
• HGV technical qualification (NVQ or City and Guilds)
• Class 2 licence preferred
• Strong customer service skills
• Team player with initiative
• Knowledge of Health and Safety practices

Responsibilities:

• Routine inspections and repairs of vehicles within the workshop
• Conduct MOT inspections and repairs
• Attend breakdowns and diagnose issues
• Complete compliance paperwork
