Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd in Southampton is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join a reputable workshop. You will maintain and repair a fleet of ~20 trucks, focusing on quality repairs and diagnostics, with a supportive team and modern tools.

The role offers a competitive salary up to £49,000 with overtime potential (OTE ~£50,000), Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00, paid breaks, and a family-oriented, collaborative environment with pension contributions and 28 days holiday.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified HGV technician or progressing with the right attitude.
• Experience with heavy goods vehicles and trailers.
• Knowledge of diagnostic procedures and mechanical repairs.

Responsibilities

• Repairing and maintaining a fleet of around 20 trucks, mainly Renault.
• Diagnosing faults and performing servicing and fault rectification.
• Maintaining tools and equipment in a collaborative workshop.
