Job summary

React Recruitment Ltd is seeking a qualified HGV Technician on a late shift in Croydon. In this role, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing Heavy Goods Vehicles, ensuring all work meets high standards.

Experience as an HGV Technician is essential. The position offers a competitive salary, overtime rates, private medical insurance, and further education assistance.

The working hours are from 1:30 PM to 10 PM, Monday to Friday, with possible overtime available at weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an HGV Technician or similar role.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintenance, and repair of Heavy Goods Vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Carry out repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, and suspension systems.
• Complete routine maintenance and preventative servicing.
• Maintain accurate service records and job documentation.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety standards.
