Job summary

Auto Skills UK are seeking a full-time HGV Technician for our Newport depot. You will complete servicing and repairs to heavy goods vehicles, document work to company standards, and maintain orderly workshop records; shifts are 4 on, 4 off, with a 6:30am–6:30pm day pattern.

The successful candidate should be time-served or NVQ/C&G Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Repairs with MOT preparation experience. The basic salary is £44,000 per annum, with overtime paid at 1.5x and salary reviews; generous leave

• MOT preparation experience required.
• Time-served technician or NVQ/C&G Level 3 in motor vehicle repairs.

Responsibilities

• Complete service and repair documentation and records in accordance with company requirements and standards.
• Overhaul of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and other workshop equipment.
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping, both electronically and paper based.

• We currently have a vacancy for a HGV Technician to join our busy Newport Depot.
• Shift Options 46 Hour Week
• 4 on 4 off day shift 6:30am to 18:30pm
• Basic Salary = £44,000 Per Annum Plus Overtime
• The HGV Technician Role
• Complete service and repair documentation and records in accordance with company requirements and standards
• Overhaul of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and other workshop equipment
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping, both electronically and paper based
