CityJobs.com is seeking a skilled HGV Technician in Wellingborough for a full-time position. The role includes fault diagnosis support, roadside assistance, and collaboration with workshop teams to maintain and repair vehicles.

The position features a four-week rotating shift pattern and training opportunities at an on-site training school. Candidate should hold NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and a full UK driving licence.

Formación

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent City & Guilds qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
• Fully qualified HGV Technician
• Experience with Scania, Volvo Trucks, DAF, Renault Trucks or other major HGV manufacturers/dealers

Responsabilidades

• Ensure repairs follow manufacturers' procedures safely and efficiently.
• Assist fault diagnosis and roadside support as required.
• Work with Parts Team to fit correct replacement parts and maintain accurate records.
• Road test vehicles when licensed to do so.
• Complete job cards and service sheets accurately and on time.
• Report any defects to workshop controllers and maintain workshop facilities.
