Job summary

Greenhous DAF Willenhall is seeking skilled HGV Technicians to join our workshop team. We have both Day Shift and Night Shift roles available, with responsibilities spanning servicing, maintenance and repairs on a range of commercial vehicles.

You will diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, complete repairs to high standards, and support MOT prep as required. Applicants should have relevant NVQ level 3 or equivalent and a proven track record in HGV maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience as an HGV Technician.
• Strong knowledge of HGV mechanical systems and vehicle maintenance.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, inspections and repairs on HGVs and commercial vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Complete repairs efficiently and to manufacturer and company standards.
• Carry out routine maintenance and preventative servicing.
• Identify and report any additional work required on vehicles.
• Complete all relevant paperwork and job cards accurately.
• Work safely and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
• Carry out MOT preparation and associated repair work where required.
• Work closely with colleagues to meet timescales.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment.
• Keep up to date with manufacturer developments and repair procedures.
