Job summary

Kemp Recruitment Ltd in Pinxton is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our workshop team. You will service and maintain heavy vehicles, diagnose faults and perform pre-MOT checks on site.

The ideal candidate has in-depth knowledge of HGVs and trailers, holds or is working towards City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in heavy vehicle service, and has previous HGV experience. Class 1 licence is desirable but not essential. Hours: Mon-Fri 9am-6pm.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of HGVs and trailers.
• Holding an HGV licence Class 1 is desirable but not essential.
• Qualified with City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in heavy vehicle service, maintenance and repair.
• Previous experience as an HGV Technician is required.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain all aspects of vehicle service and maintenance.
• Rectify running defects to full vehicle overhauls.
• Diagnostics and related tasks on heavy vehicles.
• Carry out pre-MOT checks and perform required repairs.
