Job summary

SUEZ is seeking a skilled vehicle technician to service and repair heavy goods and articulated vehicles at our Exeter workshop. You will perform routine servicing, diagnostics and preventative maintenance to DVSA standards, and maintain accurate job records.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance is required.
• Previous experience working on HGVs or commercial vehicles is essential.
• Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding skills are required.
• A positive attitude with excellent attention to detail is needed.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team is important.
• A valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV driving licence is preferred.
• A Basic DBS check will form part of the recruitment process.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Location: Greendale Business Park, East Devon, Exeter

• Salary £44,143.10 / £21.15 per hour
• Monday-Friday
• Working 40 hours per week
• Shift Pattern: Week 1- 6:30-15:00, Week 2- 8:30-17:00
• Overtime available at x1.5 & x2.0, plus day in lieu for Bank Holiday
• 28 days annual leave including Bank Holidays.

Our vehicles arrive pre-cleaned and emptied before entering the workshop, allowing you to spend your time doing what you do best- maintaining and repairing vehicles, not cleaning them.
