We are seeking skilled and motivated HGV Technicians to maintain and enhance our heavy goods vehicle fleet at our Barnsley site. Responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to meet safety and performance standards.

Location: Barnsley, S71 3LJ

Hours: DAYS & NIGHTS

Earning Potential:

• DAYS: £48,900 per annum
• NIGHTS: £61,400 per annum

What will you do & need?

Your responsibilities include maintaining Gist's HGVs, ensuring timely work completion, diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults, and accurate documentation. Experience in a fast-paced distribution environment, NVQ Level 3 or City & Guild Level 2 in heavy vehicle maintenance, and desirable Irtec certification are preferred. Training to achieve HGV Class 1 license or Irtec can be supported after service.
