Job summary

A well-established family-run business seeks an experienced HGV Technician for their Coventry depot. The role involves performing maintenance, repairs, and technical support for the fleet of HGV vehicles, requiring qualification at City & Guilds or NVQ level 3 and a solid understanding of commercial vehicles.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified HGV Technician with City & Guilds / NVQ level 3.
• Experience as an HGV Technician preferred.
• Ability to perform pre-MOT checks and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and repairs on HGV vehicles and trailers.
• Conduct pre-MOT checks and necessary repairs.
• Provide technical support from fault analysis to vehicle overhauls.

A family run business that has been established for over 30 years, won multiple awards for their service and have numerous depots located across the U.K. Due to their ever-expanding team they are currently looking for a skilled HGV Technician to join their depot in Coventry

About your new HGV Technician role

• You will carry out maintenance, repairs and modification work on the fleet of HGV vehicles and trailers and provide technical support from fault analysis through to complete vehicle overhauls.
• You will also be required to undertake pre-MOT checks and undertake any repairs that are required.

Key skills / experience required for the HGV Technician role

• An in-depth knowledge of commercial vehicles and trailers.
• Be a fully qualified HGV Technician with City & Guilds / NVQ level 3
• Be able to undertake all aspects of commercial vehicle maintenance and repair
• Previous experience as an HGV Technician
• HGV Licence would be beneficial but not essential
