Job summary

The HGV Technician role in Bristol at TCR International is part of the engineering team responsible for maintaining and repairing ground support equipment to high standards. You will perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs, while recording work in SAP and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and ISO frameworks.

Qualifications

• Experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Full driving licence is essential.
• HGV 3 qualification required; HGV 2 licence desirable.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and maintenance of vehicles and plant equipment.
• Perform inspections, brake and smoke tests, reporting defects.
• Diagnose faults and advise on work and parts before starting.
• Record repair progress and non-productive time in SAP.
• Co-ordinate with stores for parts supply and book parts correctly.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
